Rural Poverty Reduction, How Solar Energy Can Change the Tide - Policy Brief

Rural poverty is a persistent challenge in several jurisdictions including developing countries like Ghana. It is imperative to acknowledge that one of the prominent factors is the lack of access to reliable and affordable sources of energy. Therefore, this paper focused on the relevance of inculcating the utilization of solar energy in rural areas in Ghana, and how the various institutions and authorities can formulate and shape policy directives to accommodate this new development.
